Veritas HR is a directory of HR services providers and HR software for companies in India. It is run by Veritas HR Solutions, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, and lives at veritashrsolutions.com. The site exists to answer two practical questions: which HR firm should we call, and which HR tool should we buy.
Two directories, one site
HR services. Recruitment and staffing agencies, HR consultancies, independent HR consultants, payroll providers, labour-law compliance firms, background-verification firms and HR training providers. Listings are organised by city. We launched with hubs for ten metros: Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Surat, Vadodara and Kolkata. Ahmedabad is the most deeply curated because that is where we are. Each profile shows what a firm actually does rather than a phone number and a slogan: service focus as percentages, sectors served, client sizes, hiring levels, minimum project size, rate band, service area and structured reviews.
HR software. HRMS, payroll, applicant tracking, learning, engagement, attendance and performance tools that sell to Indian companies. This directory is not tied to a city. Products are ranked by upvotes from logged-in users, most of whom are HR practitioners, together with reviews. It works much like Product Hunt, but only for HR tools and only for India.

- HR teams choosing software — filter by category, pricing model, deployment and company size, read reviews from other HR teams, and see what people are voting for this week.
- Providers and vendors — a verified profile that brings qualified enquiries from people who have already read your rates, focus and reviews.
What “verified” means
A listing carries the Verified badge only when we have confirmed that the person managing it is connected to the business. That happens in one of two ways: the account email is on the same domain as the company website (checked automatically), or an administrator has verified the business by other means. Reviews have their own verified mark, set by an administrator after checking the reviewer. The full process is on our How we verify page.
How listings get here
- Our own research. We look businesses up by hand in Google Maps, on their own websites and in public Ministry of Corporate Affairs records, put them into a spreadsheet and import them. Each such listing is marked as researched by us, and its focus data stays empty until the owner claims it. Where we use the Google Places API in future, the listing will say “Data from Google”.
- Self-listing. Any provider or vendor can submit a listing. It goes into a queue and is published after a person checks it.
- Owner claims. If your business is already listed, claim it to edit the profile, add focus data and receive enquiries. You can also ask for the listing to be removed.
What we never do
- Sell reviews, write reviews, or accept payment or gifts in return for a review or a rating.
- Scrape LinkedIn, Justdial, IndiaMART, Sulekha, G2 or Capterra. Their terms forbid it and we do not do it. A LinkedIn URL appears on a profile only when the owner gave it to us or it is published on the company’s own site.
- Rank sponsors higher. Paid placement never changes a listing’s Veritas rank, its rating, or its position in any list.
- Let a vendor vote for or review its own product, or let an owner review their own firm.
Sponsored placements
There are no paid placements at launch. When they arrive, a featured listing will sit in its own row at the top of a list, labelled “Sponsored”, with a date after which the placement expires. The ranked list underneath is unaffected. A sponsored listing must meet the same profile and verification standards as everyone else.
