Veritas HR lists HR consultancies, independent consultants, recruitment and staffing agencies, payroll providers, compliance, background-verification and HR training firms serving companies in India. Listing is free. A person reviews every submission before it goes live, so the notes below will save you a rejection.
What a good profile needs
- Logo — PNG or JPG, square if possible. No SVG.
- Tagline — one line: what you do, for whom.
- Description of at least 120 words, in your own words: what you do, who your typical client is, how you work.
- Focus percentages for services, sectors and client sizes. Each group must add up to 100. For example: recruitment 60, payroll 25, compliance 15.
- Minimum project size in rupees, and a rate band (under ₹500/hour, ₹500–1,500, ₹1,500–5,000, ₹5,000 and above, or undisclosed). “Undisclosed” is allowed but scores lower.
- Sectors you actually serve — manufacturing, textiles, pharma, chemicals, BFSI, IT, healthcare, retail, logistics and so on. Only those you have real clients in.
- Hiring levels if you recruit: blue-collar, entry, mid, senior, leadership.
- Niche tags — free-text specialities such as campus hiring, IT contract staffing, factory compliance or expat payroll.
- Service area — your city, your state, pan-India, or remote.
- Contact and website — a working phone number, email and live website. Team size, founding year, languages and a short portfolio help buyers and lift your rank.
What gets rejected
- Duplicates. We match on website domain, then on name and city. If your firm is already listed, claim it instead.
- No website. A social media page or marketplace profile does not count; we need a site to check your description against.
- Copied text. Descriptions lifted from other directories or a competitor, or generic text with nothing specific about your firm.
- Job boards, job aggregators and portals that list vacancies rather than provide HR services.
- Focus percentages that do not add up to 100, contact details that do not work, or a logo that belongs to someone else.
How submission works
Register with your email, confirm the one-time code, then fill in the form. An email on your website’s domain flags the listing as verified automatically. An administrator reviews and publishes it, usually within two business days. After that you edit it from your account; edits are checked before going live. Details: How we verify.
Free listing and featured placement
A listing is free and always will be, with every field available and no limit on enquiries. Later we plan to sell featured placement: a labelled “Sponsored” row at the top of a city or service page for a fixed period. It does not change your Veritas rank, and you cannot buy your way into a guide. There is no billing today; to hear when it is available, email [email protected].
