Truein is a cloud time and attendance system that verifies each punch with AI face recognition and GPS geofencing, so staff spread across many sites, projects and contractor agencies can clock in from a phone, tablet kiosk or shared device without buddy punching. The Pune-based vendor targets construction, facility management, logistics, manufacturing, retail and staffing firms that run distributed or contract labour. Punches sync after offline periods, and more than seventy configurable policies cover shifts, breaks, overtime multipliers and approvals, with anomaly detection flagging suspicious hours before payroll. Indian pricing is annual and per user, with a flat base fee per customer; live tracking and leave management are paid add-ons, and enterprise contracts add SSO and custom connectors to systems such as Darwinbox, SAP and ADP.
