Zoho People is the HR module of the Zoho suite, covering employee records, onboarding and offboarding, leave, attendance with facial check-in, shift rosters, timesheets, performance appraisals, compensation planning, a help desk and an LMS. Zia, Zoho’s assistant, answers questions and automates tasks across the product. It suits everything from a five-person startup on the permanent free tier to enterprises that need sandbox environments, and the vendor cites more than 50,000 businesses in 165 countries. Paid editions (Essential HR, Professional, Premium, Enterprise) are billed per user per month with a five-user minimum and a 30-day trial; Indian payroll and statutory filing are handled by the companion Zoho Payroll product rather than natively. Native iOS and Android apps and a long integration list, including Tally-style accounting tools, Slack, Teams and e-signature services, round it out.
